As a child, I pored over musty photo albums and scoured the garage for evidence of family members I was never able to meet. I began to see photography as a sort of superpower that could allow me to freeze time and revisit moments whenever I liked. I wouldn’t have to worry about memory fading, because I could print my memory, hang it up on the wall, and swap it with a new copy whenever the colors grew dim.

My personal work is largely informed by psychology, time, and light (or lack thereof). I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Belmont University in 2019. It was there that I began studying these concepts I had been fascinated with my whole life. In time, I started applying these themes to create intimate, story-driven images. I love looking closely, seeing the way light passes through trees, memorizing lines in a face, and decoding & translating emotion.

What drives my commercial work is the hope that I can create a time machine for you too. I want to capture the in-between, quirky, not always photogenic moments, as well as the artful “must-have” shots. I love to play in my sessions, with unexpected light, colors, and strategic blur or motion to better communicate exactly what this moment means to you.
