Seasons Within

Nashville, TN. Fall of 2018.

Catch it on film, put it in a frame, protect it from the touch of time. The pause button malfunctions, but days past can be revisited with a quick trip to the mantle. We’ll always have Paris hanging in the hallway.

I hoped to examine the relationship between time and photography more closely in this series. It is an examination of the practice of taking a photograph, beginning with the content we hope to capture, to the techniques we employ in the camera, to the process of developing the image. These stages are collaborative, making a statement about the moment that will remain after the memory has faded.
